Professional Background
As a California-licensed Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I evaluate and treat individuals of all ages. Prior to starting Logan Wellness, I worked as a clinical nurse at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and public health nurse for the LA County Department of Public Health.
Board Certification
Board certification is obtained by passing a competency-based national exam that assesses the clinical knowledge and skills of nurse practitioners. Certification is awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC).

Nurse practitioners are licensed and regulated by the Board of Registered Nursing (916) 322-3350 www.rn.ca.gov. A nurse practitioner is not a physician or a surgeon. A patient has the right to see a physican and surgeon on request. In some circumstances, a referral may be required. In Spanish, nurse practitoner is "enfermero especializado."
Updates
Beginning January 1, 2026, Logan Wellness Advanced Nursing Practice Corp. will discontinue prescribing controlled substance medications through telehealth appointments. This will be practice-wide, including existing and future clients. The practice is planning to relocate to the Palm Springs area early in the new year. Telehealth care will continue for clients in California and Arizona from the new location.
